Waiting

Niceville, FL(Zone 8b)

Waiting for my first flush so I can figure out which one this is. Hurricane Ivan ripped my brugs out of the ground and disapeared with the tags. Now I have to wait for each one to bloom so I can relabel them.

I'm so happy you still have your brug, how horrifying that kind of wind must be. I surely hope you all are spared this hurricane season!!!

I don't know how you guys along the gulf or east coast can handle so many hurricanes. The devastation that we see on the TV is probably not even close to showing us everything. I'd be sick watching my flower beds torn up or flooded out. I hope you are able to name your brugs again when they bloom.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Your place must be so special with all your great plants Lisa. How dare a hurricane come near. You must die each time they are forecast.

I didnt used to mind them. In my younger years, it gave us a reason to through another party. But now that I am older and an avid gardener, I cringe.

the waiting is so harddddd i just want to get some flowers on one even.. good luck..

I would too if I had your yard. Glad you are having blooms now. Brugs are tough, so they are a good plant to have in such bad weather. If a small piece survives, you still have your plant!! Unless of course someone comes along and steals it.

I am thinking this one might be Rosamond.

They are beautiful. It still amazes me how much color change takes place in so little time. Looks like they are gonna be a rich full color for you.

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

They are looking great, and now I truly know how it feels to see your first Brug, and can't wait for any blooms to open.

On second thought, I think it is Ms. Anna.
