Where IS the pond?

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Every year it is the same. I plant this and that in between tags of perennials and daylilies and think it will look nice. Then it all starts growing and the pond disappears. It's only June.

Badseed, you have a lovely garden. Thanks for sharing it with us. :)

Lindsay, OK(Zone 7a)

over your head? I wish mine looked that good, full, lush, etc...

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Thanks! If this fall and winter is like the last few have been, I will be able to leave all that stuff out until October or November. It will be a jungle by then.

Archer/Bronson, FL(Zone 8b)

Chele,

I see a big bathtub out there!!!! and those canna lilies need a few leaf rollers, I have some extras...you want?
LOL

Your pond is lovely. I wish I had the space to have a bigger one. My little one is over grown and overcrowded. Your's is great.

:^)))

Thanks Molly! Those are canna I over wintered from last year. I am really glad I did! Some of us can't leave them in the ground all winter. LOL

That bath tub is what I use for a veggie filter but I haven't gotten it settled in the way I want it yet. I keep moving it around and raising and lowering it. Sigh...

Mason, MI(Zone 5b)

Badseed, you have a wonderful pond and your flowers are beautiful.

Oak Grove, MN(Zone 4a)

Hey, that looks familiar! I think I have a pond under my plants too. And maybe a dog, a small car or two, a gas grill, some tools. . . Hubby says I need to plant things that won't take over, but I like it this way. Your flowers are beautiful!

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Sylvi! Tell him more plants means less room for weeds. HA! Hey, we can tell them that though. :) And thanks!

Plano, TX(Zone 8a)

Beautiful pond, Chele. And the cannas caught my eye, too. The leaves look so perfect, not a bug bite to be seen. lol Everything is lovely and and I believe you are superwoman! :-)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Thank you! (If you think I am superwoman, it is only because you cannot see the dust, dirt and laundry room. LOL).

Well, my kids are all older now but my philosophy is that if they are loved, cleaned and fed, who cares if the house is a little messy. (And they can always be recruited to help in the garden.)
