CLOSED: Have some Blood Root and Jack in the Pulpit

Blandinsville, IL(Zone 5a)

I have to move move hosta to get to these, so it will be a couple of weeks. I don't know the name of the Jack in the pulpit, because I've had it for several years and lost the tag, I can tell you that it isn't the plain green one.

I'm looking for a lily, called "Black Beauty" It is an older lily, but I've would sure like to get it.

Thanks for looking,
Annie

There are actually several different kinds of plants called bloodroot. Can you possibly point to one in the PF to help me/us know which one is like the one you have to offer?

I always referred to it as Sanguinaria canadensis I would be happy to measure leaves for you tomorrow. I'm just taking a guess, but I would say the leaves are at least 6 inches across or better. I got it in Minnisota.

I was (almost) expecting that to be the plant in reference. When I went to the PF to double check what I thought it was, several other plants came up and I was somewhat surprised by that.

But I do love the plant files here, and I really use them alot.

Well, I didn't think I would have much interest. I can always open it back up.
