In for the Night

Ozark, AL(Zone 8b)

Or maybe a few!!
Rain expected, and the wind has knocked over this '04 seeding once already, ( It's 4th night in bloom, there are over 50 flowers, and more buds) so I decided to bring it in.
It should be a very nice evening to be indoors!!!

erm, um,....Neglect? The poor thing doesn't get watered as often as it should, and while in a 10 gal pot, its near 6' tall and and almost as wide across. (it was a trick getting it in without breaking branches!) This is it's third flush, and all have been great for it's size. It first bloomed as a small skinny (4 ft) tree form with 6 big blooms. the second was at least 25, and now this one. For some reason the flowers are a lot smaller this flush, maybe from the heat and (ahem) lack of water?

Any minute now the fragrance switch should click on, and I'll just sit here and hyperventilate!!

Wish you were here, or it there Lexy; You would just love it!!!

I picture being a spoiled very wealthy bride to be, demanding a night wedding with 50 just like this on either side of the aisle. They would of course have to go to the reception as well, so people wouldn't stay behind just to smell the flowers!! ;)
