I recently recieved one of this plants and would like to know the best way to spilt them. It has a ton of new growth and a friend would like some. I did notice that the new leaves split off of others after a while. Can you root limbs from this plant like pothos or philaden, or do you have to split them at the base where the roots are at? I want to make sure to do this right and not kill the plant since it is so beautiful.
Red Veined Prayer Plant
You can try to find a leaf section that has 2-3 leaves to it and snip it off and pot it up in moist potting soil..that's how I do mine anyway! lol

Ok MsC, I'll give that a try. This plant has quite a few sections like that already. It's in a hanging basket and getting rather big.
Good Luck!
