IMPORTANT!!!!!!
The stuff growing in my strawberry patch that was identified as a weed, isn't. That was on the "Welome Cybercrone" thread.
Don't pull it up, whoever said they were going to.
Some of mine just bloomed, and it has the prettiest bright orangey-red flower heads - looks like they're made up of multiple tiny flowers. Just spotted it out of the bathroom window this morning. Haven't had a chance to get a close look yet.
I'll send a pic for identification as soon as I get a minute to take one.

DON'T RIP IT UP
Oooh, maybe Asclepias?
Hm-m-m-m, I just looked that up, and I don't think so, but as I said I just got a peek this morning.
I'll try my best to get a piccy tomorrow.

The scarlet one is Lychnis chalcedonica or Scarlet Lightning. If the pink one has the same type of foliage it is Lychnis also, but I think I have seen a different species name used for it, which escapes me at the moment.

I guess most people would call it Maltese Cross and the pink one would be the same with 'rosea' added to the name.
