Went to Safeway this afternoon to pick up groceries. While there, I of course had to check the racks of plants they still had on disply in front of the store. Wowzers! .50 for 4 inch pots of various annuals and perennials. How could I resist?
Ended up bringing home a Coleus, Silvia, Lambs Ears and Rudbeckia plants in 4" pots. When dh saw them, he looked bewildered and asked...Do you really need more plants? What a silly question!!! Of course! There must be a piece or two or three or four of ground big enough to fit these poor homeless plants. And by golly, I found them. All four are now resting comfortably. :) Pretty good deal, huh? Now, I have to keep telling myself that I can't go back! 8-]
Why do they do that?

LOL, actually, I meant husbands. But I wish it was true about the stores, Marilyn. I'd have a lot more money in my purse if I could buy all my plants and flowers for 50 cents. :D
