I received some bulbs from Buried Treasures donation at the S/Central Fla Roundup in February. I brought them home and planted them and they are finally showing themselves with flowers.
I just wanted to share.

A Few Tropical Blooms
Wow, that is pretty. I am waiting for my candy cane curcuma to bloom again. That is my favorite.
Beautiful, Molly! Luv the peacock.
:) Donna
I have the same plants (gingers) as in your third and fourth picture, also looking for the name of these.
Kaleem
Lisa, I just went and looked up your candy cane and it is exquisite. Just pink is pretty too, although the tiny flowers in the little water cups are purple and white.
Kaleem, those 2 are Peacock Gingers I believe. Sure looks like the leaves on the ones in the Plantfiles.
Thanks Donna. These are all fun for me since it's my first time with them.
Molly
Thank you so much, do you have blooms with these gingers because I never have . But leafs are very beautiful. Tomorrow I will post here photo of mine.
Kaleem
Kaleem,
This is my first time with these. They grew from bulbs. The one in photo #3 bloomed from the ground before it grew any leaves. Strangest looking thing. http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1469075
So they are supposed to have blooms.
Molly
:^)))
Molly
Yes yes the same one I have seen in pots, when my gingers were dead. I was thinking those are from another plant. Thank you so much for sharing photos.
Kaleem
You are very welcome Kaleem.
:^)))
Looking good, Molly. Even without blooms, the peacock ginger is pretty.
Thank you Nat. :^))))
Nice to see you again.
Molly
Very nice Kaleem.
:^)))
Molly,
Those are the Kaempferia. Nice foliage on yours. I'll post the one bed I planted of them.
Thanks Chris, we have missed you, hope all is well.
