OT: Just look what my husband made for me !

Walhalla, SC(Zone 7a)

It's a Potting Bench. I knew he was going to his dad's ALOT lately, but i thought he was just helping him out. But no, he was building me this beautiful Potting Bench. I'm so lucky to have such a talented, sweet Husband.

He's probably already planning your greenhouse, lol!

Great bench!!! and great porch! You are missing some of the more tropical elements like Hawaiian newspapers on the table and plant books piled all around...like mine!!!LOL

Aren't you a lucky lady to have a thoughtful and talented hubby like you have! I love your Potting Bench. He did a wonderful job! I wonder how many of us are going to be showing our hubbies this thread...lol.

I'm going to get in trouble with all your husbands arnt i??? Hahahhaha

Mel- As for neat and orderly, I had to clean it up to fit the bench out there, Maybe it will stay that way??? Ha-probally not. I thought it would make room for more Hoyas, but it looks like I'm just going to have to expand under the porch. Were thinking about putting up plexiglass sides under the porch and making that a sunroom, but we have to figure out how to keep it heated. Got to keep those babies warm!

Carol- As for the papers and books, there there too, just under the coffee table...so there not in the photos. Also, there is normally 2 yellow labs and 2 chihuahuas basking in the sun out there. They just love it too!

Oh by the way, that was a photo after we built the new porch, Under it is where i want the sunroom at.
To the right there is a long built in planter just wanting to be planted full! It's full sun, so i know when the time comes to fill it up, we have to be careful of what we pick!

Congratulations on getting that beautiful & well crafted potting bench Jaimee. Your DH is a keeper, treat him well. When I first saw the first photo of your porch, my first thought was to suggest you convert it to a sunroom. You've done a great job on your house, it looks really nice.
