Who here grows Hoya 'Mathilde'? I may have the chance to obtain a cutting of this cultivar, but I know little about it other than its parentage. Is it an easy grower and bloomer? Is it best grown like its H. serpens parent, or rather like its H. carnosa parent? Is it a fast or slow grower? And, most importantly, is it fragrant? Thanks in advance for any comments! :-)
Hoya 'Mathilde'
Mine was started from a cutting two year ago. It sat and did nothing for almost 18 mo. and then this Spring took off and has been going ever since. I grow it just like carnosa with no extra care. I can't tell you about the smell because my first umbrels are getting ready to bloom at this time.
