This rose always blooms on my Mom's Birthday June 20th,
she turned 86 this year..

Thats gorgeous Wilma.......our white was covered with blooms but our pink one seems to be having an off year (I only counted 7 blooms on it).
We'd love to see a photo, Pam. I have every other color of Rose, but not white.

My Mom is doing great, she is outside every day in her garden and she sews almost everyday making quilts,,
she also does an old fashsion rug hooking done on burlap, and the frame is made with old hockey sticks,,
Will have to post a picture of the ones I have..
she is very active for a person her age..

it is a very pretty rose bush , blooms are a pinky mauve..
The white one I have is a single Donna....its' flowers are larger than the wild variety.
I have a Mom like that too, Wilma. and it is such a blessing. She is 85 years young, and although she doesn't garden anymore (apartment) she golfs twice a week, does water aerobics once a week, belongs to a poker group and loves to party! I pray that her good health and stamina continues. Here's a photo of her when she came to visit last fall. She's coming again the first week in August. She lives in Edmonton, but she loves it here, so comes as much as she is able.
