Introducing Leo: Mouse Machine For Hire

South Puget Sound, WA(Zone 8a)

This is our 17 lb. six-toed, very loveable, mostly outdoor kitty. He was born in a barn on a family farm about eight years ago, so his parentage is unknown, but he is a real sweetie. He looks like he has some Linx point in him, and his tummy fur is curly. Since we moved out to the county three years ago (from a city neighborhood), he has reconnected with his mouse hunting ancestry and lately has been catching and eating about 4-6 mice in our field on a daily basis. Should I be worried about this? Are there any adverse health affects from eating so many mice? Occasionally he'll bring in a vole or shrew, but he doesn't eat those (maybe a bitter after taste?)LOL.
