A few blooms for your pleasure

Knoxville, TN(Zone 7a)

I picked up this hibiscus last year and found it to be a vigorous grower with nice foliage. The blooms ain't bad either!

5th Dimension isn't showing her colors, yet. Hopefully, she'll soon start strutting her stuff.

And "God's Grace" is looking good this year. Last year, I had a problem with the blooms flopping over. With the more mature branches, the blooms are showing nicer.

Your 'Bright Eyes' is wonderful!!!

Your 'God's Grace' makes me all the sadder that mine perished at the hands of my mailman....

Beautiful blooms!

Nat, what is that gorgeous plant growing in the pot with "Bright Eyes"?

Pati, it was labled Surfinia Red, and while it is a little redder than this photo - it does have a definite pinky rose cast to it.

Nat, thanks for the link. Love the petunias and also spotted some new colors in Impatience for the fall!

I love looking at the Proven Winners website, but then get frustrated when I can't find what I want locally. The Surfinias and Supertunias can't be beat for longevity and lots of blooms. As they need lots of water and fertilizer to bloom well, they are good plants to put with hibiscus and brugs.

I have one container filled with Lime and Purple surfinia petunias that is really striking. Green tunias??? Who'd a thunk it?

That 5th dimension is beautiful! If it seeds please save me some!!

Such a beautiful combination, I planted a few seeds but so only a couple seeds have come up so maybe I will get lucky this year and finally get my first hibiscus one to bloom.
