Very pretty! Did you do the crosses? How long form seed to bloom?

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Heather the seeds were from crosses I did in 93'these seeds were 12 years old! I dsidn't label the crosses at that point ..just crossed everything. The time from seed to first bloom was about 2 1/2 months.sometimes takes a looooong time to first bloom.

Kyle, my slender purple-leaved canna seedlings finally bloomed. The flower is small, but they are a pretty cherry red.

I love the soft apricot color of your seedlings, Kyle.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Clare, nice red color..many of my slender red foliaged cannas are just setting buds so will see what I end up with..have had two dwarf reds with green foliage..a watermelon red and a deep red with a yellow eye.
Kyle :-)

New Iberia, LA(Zone 9a)

I love that color on canna.. pretty!

Ventura, United States(Zone 10b)

Thanks, Kyle. I look forward to seeing what yours turn out to be. Red is a nice color. I had a watermelon red on some of my seedlings last year, but I had to take them out because they were too big for where I had planted them. The dwarf ones would be nice. I do like the color of my red ones above, but I wish the flowers were bigger. Here are seedlings that bloomed last year:
