As many of you have already read, we have a unrepairable leak in a liner seam. We're looking to replace the existing spliced liner with a one-piece liner. No local places carry liners big enough, so we are looking at on-line sources. Can anyone point me to a good place to buy liners online (you can davemail me if it's against the rules to endorse a company). What liner type is the best? We had been looking at the 45 mil EPDM.
liners online?
I got mine at Pondliner.com. Good prices, even with the shipping, and excellent customer service as well. Got my pump and skimmer from them, too. I agonized over the decision about 45 mil epdm because of the cost. But I'm very, very glad I went with that stuff.
One tip I can give you, if you don't already know it, is that using a 'formula' to figure the size of your liner will likely leave you with lots of extra liner. The most accurate method is to take your tape measure and measure the widest and longest parts of the pond by running the tape measure actually down the side, across any shelf, along the bottom, then up the opposite side. This gives you an exact measurement of the liner at the widest and longeset part. Then add however much you want to extend over on each measurement. I saved about 150$ by doing it this way.
I got mine at the same place...great customer service !!!!
Both of our liners, the original and the one we spliced to expand our pond last summer, as well as the splicing materials came from Just Liners Plus http://www.justliners.com/epdm.htm

Thanks for your suggestions. I ended up getting the EPDM liner from Just Liners. I was suprised how inexpensive the liners were. Here at local places that carry liners (tiny ones) they are much more expensive. I think I spent about double for the old liners that I had to splice together.
