Green Tomato Jam

Woonsocket, RI(Zone 6b)

When I was younger (a long time ago) and I was learning to garden by my new mother-in-law
she gave me a recipe to use up the green tomatoes at the end of the season.
Green Tomato Jam
2 cups sugar
3 cups chopped green tomato
1 package raspberry or strawberry Jell-O

Instructions:
Use food processor to chop tomatoes fine. Boil combined ingredients for 15 minutes. Let cool 20 minutes. Store refrigerated in screw cap jars.
