Enchanted has a multitude of buds, but so far 7 have dropped. Is this something to be expected? It is in the sun room away from wind and weather. Temperature fluctuation is minimal.I'm concerned that it may become habit forming.
dropping buds
I hate to say this, but maybe it wants to be outside. When brugs are acclimated to the weather, they get along fine. Sure, once in a while a bad storm will affect them, but I've only had Herrenhauser Garten drop buds regularly outside. I think one time I had bud drop on Creamsickle, but otherwise, I've been pretty lucky. It could be that your brug might be needing more humidity and warmer temps that the outside environment can give it. Just guessing here.
Its worth a try. I'll put her on the deck. Thanks Brugie.
Go into the sun gradually. You don't want to burn her leaves. Probably the safest thing to do would be to put her in shade all day for a few days to get her used to the air first. Then work on the light.
What a beautiful sunroom!
It looks wonderful today, I think Brugie put you on the right track, she really looks healthy and green...
OH YES...lovely. Great move!

Won't be long now! Is the calyx peeled back from the stem or am I seeing things?
Looks great!
No Julie, the lighter portion is from the sunlight. Most of the flower is shaded.
Oh good...looks great and I know you're excited. :-)
Boy, she is taking her time, isn't she......
Is it drying out at all up where you live in WA? Until we got a couple days of sun, it seemed like the buds weren't doing much.
We have had several good days with sun and little if any rain. Need it bad in the mountains to make up for the low snow pack and to fill the lakes. Irritating as it is sometimes, that's what keeps us green.
What a big, green healthy looking brug. I just can't place Enchanted so I am dying to see what she looks like. OPEN OPEN OPEN
Very pretty!!!
What a beautiful double!
