Here is a pic of a tiny Gray Hairstreak sipping nectar from my Agastache 'Blue Fortune.' They like to feed head down with the back of their wings moving up and down against each other. The movement at that end and the false eyespots back there and the little projections which simulate antenna, probably fool the predators and help keep the Hairstreak alive by causing them to strike at the less important end of the Hairstreak.
