Golden Sculpture, and Hiaro Majesty. Again, I will mail these in two weeks like the others. I'm hoping to get at least a few fans of different named daylily, and iries for the mature plants or at least two nice division of named hosta I don't have.
Sorry, I will not trade "Tissue Culture" hosta for any of my hosta. None of mine were bought as a "tc", or from a "box store", and all are true to name.
Thanks for looking, I can e-mail anyone my list of hosta if they are interested.
Annie

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I have H. Scooter, H. Fragrant Bouquet and H. Flash of Light if you are interested in any of those. I'd prefer to trade for both plants rather than just one.
I need to divide these iris, if you're interested. Here's the thread about them (with picture): http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/515471/
Notmartha,
I sent you my list of daylily, hosta and iris I have so you know what I have. Thanks for taking the time to go through them.
Let me know if you find something interesting, if I don't have it this year, there is always another time.
Annie
smilin32,
I have fragrant Bouquet, but could you give me some information on the other two. I'm wondering if flash of light is a sport of Night before Christmas? ( I do have that one, and love it) and Scooter is a nice hosta also. I try to go in order of who posted first and give those the option of trading first. I like Big bold hosta....and the bigger the better. If we don't trade this time there is always the next time.
I would be more than happy to send you my list of daylily, hosta and iris. So you do know what I have for a future trade.
Thanks for posting.
Annie
Captmicha,
I'm not looking for siberians right now, but I would be more than happy to send you my list of hosta, daylily and bearded iris that I have so you have it for reference for maybe a trade in the future.
Thank you for taking the time to look at my post,
Annie
Annie send me your list I'm looking to add some new hostas. I have a large list to trade and a good friend who owns a hosta nursery. LOL..... Hosta's are not in short supply here. :)
Sure, or I could catch up with you another time?
How does one divide a hosta? Do you just dig up part of it and plant it in a pot? I have nevere tried this before but I have a couple large ones in the garden and have some spots I would like to add to.
Thanks,
Gwen
Gwen,
First of all before dividing hosta or any plant make sure your shovel and tools you are working with are clean.
If the hosta are real big, your only choice is to dig it up and take the shovel and slice it in quarters. You are going to have some that will stress real bad, but then you will be able to handle them better.
I would then rinse off as much soil as you can get off so you can see the where to divide the differnt eyes. Soak them in water for a day and so and they will come apart much easier. sometimes you can gently pull them apart then other times you have to take a knife and cut the different divisions. With a little practice you will get the hang of it. Make sure you give them plenty of water after doing this till they bounce back.
I will look up to see if I can find you a link that shows it. I will send it to your by d-mail.
Annie
