Don't worry ely isn't going to get far with that ear. Cause I will be after him like a jack rabbit. LOL I bought both of the ears Seven colors and Green Velvet variegated from Asiatica nursery. The quality of plants they sent was amazing. Will buy from them again. This was a treat to myself for NOTHING!!!!!!! Just had to have them. Ely don't tell me the price is going to drop that always happens to me.
=) LOL, Yeah I read off of one of the links on http://www.aroid.org, I might be able to go to the sale if the hurricane season isn't bad..its down in Miami..! wowowoowowowoooooo! Well, from what I gather from the submiting of it all you have to do is ask, some will do it, some you have to buy so many from etc.. I am going to try two places and see what happens...
ely
wow Barb it is very pretty
Have daughter in Miami and when I visit I always bring a truck load of plants back. When I fly, I pack and ship boxes of plants. What a sickness I have!!! Would love to go to ariod sale there. Just hasn't worked out time wise for us. Husband just retired so maybe we can make it one day.
another stunner... but I like the other one better... v. Green Velvet
Strever that is a very nice sized EE, did they ship it in the pot with the soil?
Very very nice looking healthy EE.
Linda
hi Linda
it was not shipped with soil or pot
the roots were wrapped in wet newspaper then wrapped in a plastic bag
not bad for $15.00 + shipping? :-)
Dick
Wow Dick that is just beautiful and really big. And Barb, yours is beautiful also. How is it looking and growing today?
Dick, is that lutena (sp?)? or seven colors. Your plant is beautiful. Enid always sends great plant.

Thanks to you all.
The pictures are stunning AND..................
I just ordered "Lutea" and "New Guinea Gold" from Enid.
It's my first purchase from them but your praise (and Watchdog's) are all the references I needed.
"Seven Colors" will have to wait til the price comes down I fear. lol
Ric
Ric you will love what you get from them,
ely
Ric
i also got a Lutea from Enid but the leaf hasn't opened up yet
it's almost as large as the NGG
i will post a pict of it when it opens up
Dick
Thanks Dick I really haven't seen a good shot of them.
I spent the day watering and shooting pictures of all our Aroids.
I'll try to get some shots up tomorrow.
Bward any more shots of the Seven Colors?
My resolve is weakening :)
Ric
The coloring is so similar but the sizes sure aren't!! Or the prices I might add.
"New Guinea Gold" and "Lutea" came in today and you all weren't kidding.
These are absolutely the best grown large tropicals I've ever bought, at any price.
(And I'm talking locally as well as shipped in plants.)
Even w/ the 90+ degree days we've been having they arrived in perfect shape.
Thanks for the tip!
I WILL definitely be going back there.
Here they are just minutes from the box.
And again THANKS!

Ric
So glad you were pleased. She is tops in the growers of aroids. You might be interested in the international aroid society.
http://www.aroid.org/ wonderful information. I get their news letter and the Aroidian each year. Packed with info on aroids ranging from plant explorers to growing tips.
Thanks for adding that IAS info.
I've been a member for a while but many here may not know of them.
I forgot to ask.
What conditions are you growing 7C in?
Light?, Watering?, etc?
Ric
When I got my shipment the other day from Enid Dick, she said the "New Guinea Gold" was not ready to ship out so had to delay sending it. NO doubt thanks to your adverertising. LOL. If I get a shrimp I will be so disapponinted!!
Barb, how big was your A. macrorhiza 'Seven Colors.? Mine was in 2 inch pot size, I think, so small.
Kell it was large. The photo above was the size when I received it. did you order yours from aisatic ?
YES, I did!! Was I gypped?? Mine were so small. The leaves maybe 2 inches, all 2 of them. I thought WOW considering the cost was so much.
What size pot were yours in??
