Brugs and daylilies make nice companions!!! :-)))
My garden today...I just love all the flowers!!!
wow that is nice looking
I love all of your flowers too. Thanks for sharing with us.
Indeed they do! Please i.d. the Brug and Daylilies for us.
Thank you everyone for your nice comments...
I should have known that Shirley would ask for names :-)
Let me see...the pink brug is Rosamond, the white- a double white, in the back...Miners Claim, way in the back is also Sunkissed...
The daylilies...the rose red daylilies on the right are Frank Morrell, the pink small ones on the left are Coming Up Roses
I have lots more blooming in other areas of the garden...here is a raised bed...just bursting with daylilies...
LOL Margie! I wonder which one that is? On my screen she looks goldish yellow, and I love it's color, it's beautiful.
I love your daylillies with your brugs, it looks so nice. I have a few out there with mine too. Maybe I can get some pics now that it's not full of weeds anymore lol! I was straining my eye's to find the MC and I can't see it? I see some tall brugs in there but not the varigated MC. Can you point it to a blind old lady lol!
Hugs
Julie
Very pretty, Margie!! One of these days, I'm coming out there to see all the beautiful CA gardens...
Everything looks beautiful!
Beeeeeeeeeeeeee-U-TEE-FULL!!!!!!!!!! Whew, I was gonna get my eyes checked tomorrow lol...thanks for pointing it out to me Margie :-) It really is pretty :-)
Your garden is a bloomin' beauty! Thanks for i.d.ing everything for us! :~)
Margie, your garden is lovely. Like you, I likes lots of color in mine too. I just started planting daylily's around my brugs. this past summer. I am really enjoying this this Spring.
Ohh, love it all! I need another big yella, save me a cutting Margie! or any suggestions of a orangie tropical looking one?
Thank-you for your nice comments! I used to love the pastels...but have since found out that colors, bright colors really make me happy!
Previously, not being an orange person....I just love this orange...whatever it is!!! It has a stronger color than the one that was given to me as Charles Grimaldi...and it gets darker as the flowers get older...
Sue...I will save you a cutting when it is time to trim!
Everything looks so nice Margie. Just so pretty!
I was the same way Margie, all soft pinks, lavenders and blues, didn't want anthing but the very softest of yellows. But I remodeled the inside in all rich warm colors and then found looking out my big windows, the colors clashed and bouquets I brought in just didn't fit anymore. And then in touring gardens, those bright hot colors just drew you in. Now with my tropical obsessions, I am finding that the warm colors are perfect, with a few of Kell's pepto pink mixed in here and there LOL! And the purples and blues still mix in well. Actually, it's more becoming such a riot of color, it remeinds me of another forum members name. She is Flower Fairy because someone scolded her for mixing so many colors by saying "you don't want your garden to look like a flower fairy threw up in it do you?" and she replied "Why yes I do!". Works for me. The more the merrier.
I'm with you Sue!!! Can't wait to see Flower Fairy at Cinn. next week!! I guess I am a flower fairy too!!!
I find even if my mood is not so good, which rarely happens now since I have gotten into gardening, I can come to my computer and view a bright photo and I feel 100 % better!!! Color Therapy!!!
So very beautiful!
