Yesterday the lady and man came over for me to groom their pups before they sell pups to the people. They're so cute miniature schnauzers. So they brought two chicks for me to pick which one I like. When I saw both of them.. I said I would love to have both! So I got them both! LOL
They're few weeks old.. of course both are roosters. All the chicks that they have in same hatching.. All are roosters and only one hen. So they try to rid most of roosters. I have asked for a hen but they will give me one if they have more later.
I think they are Cochin Bantams. The parents both have feathers on feet (the Rooster is pearl color and Hen is buff color). So I have two of each color. :o) I have seen the parents. The Rooster is so big and full of feather.. Beautiful. He loves to be dance in circle in front of people.
Right now they are in the cage for a short time when I get to buy some supplies and build a nice chicken tractor or pen for them so they will be happy on the grass. We want to name them... haven't decided. Any suggest?? They will be pet chickens. The white one love to have belly stratch and very friendly.. the buff one is very indepenece. I
