A friend of mine gave me this beautiful variegated epi!!

Variegated epi
There is a variegated Schlumbergera called 'Madame Butterfly' that is supposed to have yellow/white and green variegated leaves. I haven't seen it in person as yet.
Sorry I got interrupted....additional info from PotEmUP (George):
Thanksgiving Cactus (Schlumbergera truncata) has pointed claws (hence lobster claw cactus.)
Christmas Cactus (Schlumbergera bridgesii) does not have the pointed claws.
Easter Cactus (Rhipsalidopsis gaertneri) has no teeth on leaves or jointed stems, and has little "hairs" at the joints.
And his great image showing the differences: http://davesgarden.com/forums/fp.php?pid=1170537
I'd give your plant a vacation on the coolest patio you have with some bright shade unless it would cook in your HOT Az temps.

Ooooo that's a very pretty holiday cactus (I'll never get it straight which are which). I love it! :-)

I don't plan on growing this outside until fall. The rest of my epi's and various others Xmas cactus are growing and happy outside. They are all underneath orange trees and receive early morning sun only.
Blessings,
Awanda
Oh wow, that's gorgeous!! I've never seen one like that or will in person. What a nice friend you have.

Awesome!!!
Wow, I didn't know there were variegated types, either. That is beautiful!
This is definitely my most "favorite" epi, even if it never blooms!!
Blessings,
Awanda
That's unique cactus! It reminds me of Sansevieria. I would love to have some variegated Schlumbergera cuttings to add my collection. :-)
