It started blooming last week. I call them my Dona blooms.
I had many of them filling a bed at our home when we moved 6 years ago.
They had spread from the original few ears that were a gift from Dona in 1986.
She passed away in 1999. It took quite awhile to get them reestablished here.
Seeing my 'memorial' plants feels like that loved one
is waving at me!
