H. acuta

This is another first time bloomer for me. I didn't even realize until this morning that it has a spur on it.

Very pretty and what a unique bloom! Ü

When I walked into the greenhouse this morning it smelled wonderful. I started looking around at what was blooming but it didn't have the right smell so when I started moving plants around I found this one.

Really pretty Patrica! Here is a photo of my blooming H. acuta. I have not noticed a fragrance. I'll have to sniff again.

I meant to add that your plants are so lush and healthy! Do you have any wide angle shots of your greenhouse?

Mel, I will take a couple pictures of my greenhouse. I just moved most of my large plants outside and have them hanging in a tree. I wanted to give the smaller plants more room and better air circulation during the summer. Your acuta plant looks alot larger than mine. The picture I took was from a rooted cutting. Hopefully by next year it will have some size too it.
And you are right about the fragrance. I kept going back out and smelling it and realized that it wasn't the acuta I was smelling but the cv. sunrise that was hanging just to the left of it.

This is my greenhouse after taking out about 25-30 of my larger hoya's. You can imagine how
full it was with all my hoya cuttings rooting and brugmansia cuttings in there over the winter.
