when my brugs finnally put out buds which will probably be late this year but do i fertilize less or more?? i water soluble 2 x a week right now. do i go to more or less a week?? or can i just keep going the way i am??

I hope someone will answer this question because I do not know the answer either. I'm not using as much fert as I did last year, but I have had buds quite a while and they haven't bloomed yet, so maybe I should use more...
Hi Marie, I personally don't change my fertilizing regime the entire summer. I fertilize 2 X's a week as you do so I would say continue what you are doing. I usually have three three flushes of blooms on the more mature brugs but due to the weather this year I will be lucky to have two. I do stop fertilizing about one month before I will be bringing them indoors.
Good Luck! Maybe someone from your part of the States may come along and advise you better. I'm not familiar with your weather and conditions you have them growing in.
I do the same as Kin except for when I'm lazy and don't get them fed as much as I should. Missing a feeding, fortunately, doesn't make or break them. Just have fun with your brugs. They can take a lot of abuse.
Boy, Brugie said a mouthful, boy, mine are always abused, always something totally unexpected, and most of the time, they've pulled through. Good luck with yours!!
