Butterfly Ginger

I planted a Butterfly Ginger in the spring. It sent up stalk after stalk. I think there are about 8 of them now. They are green and healthy looking, but all of a sudden it seems that they have stopped growing in height. I think they are about 2 feet high. Any ideas what the deal is? I was hoping that they would get about 4-6 feet high. Was I wrong in thinking that?

are they getting enough moisture?? They like quite a bit.

I agree with Donna. I have them in several places. The ones that get the biggest are the ones that are in with my bananas. They get lots of water and are about five feet tall.
