It's been about 45 at night, 60 during the day and rainy here for the last month. I planted all my peppers and eggplants over a month ago (when it really warmed up, and normally, it stays that way). Basically, they have not grown AT ALL, and have black spots on them. The peppers are wilted. My tomatoes look great, though. Is it because of the weather? And if it is, do you think they will perk up when it gets hotter out?
Thanks,
Mara
black spots
I planted my peppers and egg plants early and it stayed cool for a month before it started warming up. I had the same trouble as you have had. The plants looked terrible, insect damage, fungal spots, etc. Now that it has warmed up they are looking better and the new growth is good. Just be patient and they should come around as soon as it warms up.

As long as I get veggies in the end - that's all that matters! :)
