Do you have updated pic with flowers? How has it done for you?

I believe I have some pics that show the flowers, but I didn't add them to PF because I didn't think they presented a good representation of the plant. The plant has done extraordinarily well considering that I have kept it in a 6" pot for 2 years - out in the middle of the garden. During our hot summers the soil gets as dry as the desert; in winter the plant, pot, soil, and roots are exposed to temps down to 28F overnight. I have seen 6" of rain water freeze in my wheel barrow. Still the plant continues to live and grow and even bloom. (Hopefully, I will be able to give it a spot in the garden this year.)

I don't have my pics with me right now but will try to post one or more this evening.

I have just added 2 pics of blooms to PF. Hopefully, they will be approved soon and made available to you. Again, please note that I don't think they are good representations of what the plant is capable of and for this reason I hesitated to add them to PF. However, your request coupled with the fact that we still don't have any other photos of the flowers brought me to the conclusion that imperfect pictures may be better than none. As I mentioned, I failed to plant my blue mist. I kept it in a 6" pot on my patio (a N exposure) behind a number of larger plants where it received almost no sun and only rain water. For most of the summer the soil was like concrete. I am amazed that it is even alive (and even now adding new leaves in preparation for spring). Below is yet another pic. The leaves have lost their yellow color because of the lack of light. Note the extreme distance between leaves, an obvious indication of poor light.

I hope, however, that this will give you an idea as to what the flowers look like. Just imagine these flowers on the foliage at top.

I was thinking of getting one this year. I like to see pictures of real plants not the picture used to sell a plant. Thank you!

You are very welcome. I am the same way. When I find a fabulous plant in a catalog or on a website, I always check PF to see what it REALLY looks like. Sometimes they look the same, but often they don't. I've been burned too many times by unrealistic catalog photos.
