This story stars on a sad note but I knew I had to come here to tell the exciting end of the story!!!
On Thanksgiving my 12 year old nephew was killed by a drunk driver, one month later my brother in laws beloved dog Rocky ran away. ( was he looking for my nephew?) Well needless to say the family was heartbroken. fliers were put up every where possible. Adds were placed in the paper and all the humane societies were contacted. Rocky was no where to be found.
This weekend a true miracle happened! A women lost her dog and went to a home that thought they had found it. It wasn't her dog but they had another dog that they had found too and asked her if she wanted him. She liked him so she took him home. The next day her dad went to the humane society to place an add for her missing dog and saw a picture of Rocky!! Six months later!!! Knowing that a family may have been missing there dog they were kind enough to call. My sons number had been on the flier which was fortunate since my Brother- in- law was away. He went right away and rocky leaped over the fence as soon as he saw him!
What a wonderful surprise the family had when they got home!!
A little piece of my nephew came back!!!
