This is supposed to be an elephant ear but I don't think so. This is an actual leaf and not a preleaf.

I don't think I am an ear?
What does the other leaf look like?
Under side of that one?

I had to go out and check the pot to make sure I had the right ear. LOL It is marked melanga but does not look like it looked last year. This was a Xanthosoma last year. Maybe it just getting ready to send out the right leaves? I am bad about reusing soil sometimes but I have three of these in the same pot. Which other leaf do you mean? This is the preleaf.
Definitely an Aroid of some sort.
I'd give it a few more leaves before ID.
That cold Spring has a lot of tropicals confused.
Three of mine I was sure were 'Black Magic's' have decided to be 'Illustris'. (which I thought I had lost)
