I need some help on some info on a split leaf. I'll show ya'll a couple of pix of my plant, It started blooming the othe day. Looks like it might have a fruit on it. I probably should not have done this, but the day after it closed, which was the day after it bloomed, there was some white stuff coming out of the top of the closed bloom. So I placed it between my fingers and it felt kind of like a ripe banana, so I had to taste it and it tasted kind of like a banana, ( probably poisonous ). Let me know something. Here's the pix. Thanks Mike.

WOW!! I got mine last summer (a HUGE one) and so far I have never seen it flower OR fruit!! Where do you have it--full sun, full or part shade?? Maybe I need to move mine? Bonnie
Yeah--mine is in a corner next to the back porch where I don't think it gets ANY direct sun though of course there is light there. Kind of shady area though. It is happily making new leaves so guess it is fine!! Bonnie
mine just open up, close, then turn brown a fall off..

Yeah, our philodendrons here prefer morning sun or simply shade to afternoon sun/full sun. Dappled shade is good.
