droopy leaves

Marysville, WA(Zone 7a)

I'd mentioned it before but had not found an answer to the wilting of a few leaves. The majority look just fine, but there are several which for some reason have not responded. The plant gets an adequate amount of water and fertilizer, is in direct sunlight only a short time, has plenty of indirect light in the sunroom and has me wondering. One thing that comes to mind is a lack of humidity, being for all intents indoors. As a newbie I'm not sure what some of the idiosyncrasies of 'brugging are. Any suggestions ??

One of the more experienced people will come along in a minute to give you advice, meanwhile I'm sure they are going to want to know what size pot you have it in. Your foliage to root ratio might be off.

I think it looks pretty darned good. Wish I could have one inside that would look as good and bloom for me. Do you keep it inside just for the enjoyment or is there another reason? That room is going to smell wonderful.

Pot diameter is 21" with 16" of soil depth and a plant height of approximately 56". Soil mix is Pro-mix HP (high porosity). It has been in over-wintering, but now that there are so many buds I'm reluctant to take it outside for fear the change of temps, atmosphere, wind etc will be harmful. I'm completely in the dark when it comes to something like a foliage to root ratio, although I can see where it would have some significance in its ability to replace fluid loss due to transpiration. Or is this just much ado about nothing ??

That plant looks great...I think you worry for nothing..She is budded right now so I wouldn't do anything except water and feed...when you have a chance between flushes she may need more foot room for a plant her size...other than that she looks healthy..

Looks wonderful and I too am envious that you have a room inside with enough light to keep a plant like that happy and even blooming!

I have a seedling I am growing out right now (from a cross of Datdogs) that is about 2.5ft tall right now and I noticed yesterday the top three leaves were wilted like that when I got home from work around 8:00pm. The soil was still damp and she is in 6hrs of sunlight a day (outside). I checked her this morning and 2 of the leaves had sprung back up and one was still completely limp. Go figure..

But I decided not to worry about it unless more start wilting. It has been in the 90s and SOOO humid here for the last week I was thinking maybe she didn't appreciate the recent move from under a shade tree to out in direct sun.

WOW that plant looks darned good to me, and it won't be long befor those buds open, I would not worry it looks very healthy.
