Nice pictures, Bernie. I love all of the red in the border in Picture #1, not to mention that spacious lawn to roll around on. Looks like a huge piece of property. The cobblestone path is a great idea.

Hi, bernie--thanks for posting---your rock garden and pond is lovely--and your plants look like they love it...

are you 'into' h. geraniums? noticed your pair, and wondered what you are growing... I am just starting a collection...and do you have erodium in your garden, too? t.

Bernie -
Very nice. I really like the cobblestone path. My DH has been working on
the stone steps from our house to the driveway for 4 yrs now - he averages
one step a year. Next time you're in the area, maybe you could give him a
hand :-)

And I'm a geranium fan too! I've been starting 'em from seed & buying them
for quite a few years now.

Tabasco - can you grow erodium there? I've lost every one I've tried. I thought
they were all hardy to zone 7 or warmer. (I manage to overwinter lots of stuff
that isn't suppose to work here but no luck with erodium).

tammy, I am just gettting into h. geraniums and don't know much. Have about 18 different ones, basically from our garden centers and Robin Parer at 'Geranaiceae'. I planted g. 'purple pillow' in my 'rockery'.

Don't have erodium, but I am reading about them in Yeo's "Hardy Geranium" book and thinking of trying them...

there's a thread over in perennials with postings from others who are interested in them...maybe you've seen it?...

I have no favorite flowers. If it's for our zone, I plant it. We have 1200 perennial plants in our greenhouse, so when I want to plant something, I just walk in, look around & grab what catches my eye. Loads of fun!
