Does anyone have any Blue Ginger they'd like to make a trade with? I have gobs of registered daylilies, a good collection of gingers, lots of black stem elephant ears, and green upright ears, yesterday/today/tomorrow, Peanut butter plant clerdendron, gobs of camillian vine, red salia(which reseeds itself), La. iris, may be other things that I can't think of that I may have that you may be looking for, ,,,,just ask and maybe we can work up a deal. My blue ginger is currently not in flower and I'm not able to recall from memory which flower version I have (pendula or thysiflora), but I would be willing to trade some.
I also live in Zone 9a (Jacksonville, Fl) so just about anything you have to trade would suit me fine. I want one of everything that can possibly grow in my climate.

Dichorisandra thysiflora Blue Ginger, I guess grows like a costus... we might have to ask donna b she is the only one on here that has it I know.... I think pendula grows straight up. but i might have it backwards...

Gosh, I did not realize there were two different types. I wonder what I have. If I post a pic of the plant, could you tell me which one I have?

I'll confirm my offer to trade. I'll check back on your personal E-mail and respond with what I would like to receive in return, but I'm not very particular about what I receive. I've got a 1/2 acre plot I'm trying to fill up with plants so I don't have to mow and there are plenty of bare spots waiting for just about ANY plant for Zone 8b/9a.
