I ended up with this guy because of his fondness for the catnip bushes I grow for my other cats. For months, he wouldn't come near me, but almost every morning I would see him out by the catnip, sniffing or nipping at it. Finally he allowed me to feed him one day, and has been a happy member of the household ever since. An 8 lb bag of bones has since turned into a great big healthy 17 lber! He still loves catnip, but he now prefers the dried and crushed version that I prepare for my cats. Has anyone else seen strays attracted specifically to catnip in their gardens? Most of my house cats don't seem to react much to the fresh leaves unless they are thoroughly crushed, but Mr. Boggs here wouldn't leave it alone.
