Your picture is of Beaucarnea recurvata, NOT Beaucarnea stricta. Your palm has curly, more drooping leaves which Beaucarnea stricta does not have, but Beaucarnea recurvata does. Beaucarnea stricta has much more pointed, spiky leaves, while the Beaucarnea recurvata has leaves just like in your picture. You should ask the moderators to move your picture to Beaucarnea recurvata (the correct species).
