Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I think she is very pretty! Look at all your blooms!
Umm, do you have to chain them to the fence to keep control of them? ;)

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

I hope you don't mind me sticking this in here but it's CC's too. I didn't want to tie up space to make a new post. ;)

First Day-even after a nasty thunderstorm with high winds and torrential rain.

This was yesterday before the storm and before I moved her up on the deck so I could smell her better. :)

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

Root - good stuff!! I'm really impressed with the 15' sniff range. That's what I'm going to eventually focus on. They'll have to have great fragrance and lots of it.... unless it's variegated. What does CC Rider smell like ?

Hey Brugie, you're in Zion too! Should be blooming soon.

Spring, TX(Zone 9b)

what is the little plant that looks like a mini brug on the lower left of your first post?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I was going to ask the same question caraboof. WOW Root your brugs all look so good. So many flowers. CC Rider looks so big too. Too many now to grow them all. I love being able to see all the pics though, long distance admiration.

Chele, I love First Day, she is so big. I had some blooms on her this week too.

Tulsa, OK(Zone 7a)

Oh chele if this first day does not make it i will cry buckets.. rain wind got it pretty good thought was protected good .. its beautiful... love it..

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Nice tree! I love the ones that smell good.
Kell, First Day even likes TX, it is very dark pink.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

Twyla, I think you will do well with the brugs I sent. :) I made five cuttings of each and all five rooted in days. One had buds but I sent it out just before I sent yours. If either of yours croak, I'll make more. LOL

The storms here were pretty intense but nothing like the tornado warnings and watches they go in Indiana.

Okay Susie! You just had to throw in that yours is DARK pink, didn't ya? LOL

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Hey all, just getting in,Thanks! The small plant came from Shirley, looks like Campenulla(sp?),really took off here,I like it!
Chele you can jump in and put up what ever your heart desires in my threads,I always like the twists and turns threads take, reads like a soap,LOL! I just wish I had more time to get in here, and trying to figure out this camera is not helpin.
CC,I now know what you meant when you had to switch cameras!

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

Forgot to say.she smells like Lemon.

Root she is Gorgeous! Wowser!

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Wow RD! Since you're not on here much, does this mean that we will have to wait until tomorrow evening to find out what that double pink beauty is? Is that CC's new double???

Very nice pics everyone......I like CC's new blooms. You guys did great.

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

I'm going to root's house to learn his secret! Your plants always grow so beautiful and look so healthy. Root I have one that just bloomed and it's a pale yellow/green LOL but I do love the foliage and the odd bloom it has put out. It will stay if it can continue to bloom. I think CC's is pretty and it looks pure white. I say keep her this season if she's putting on a show.

Chele your plants look fantastic! I'm so glad you've got some blooms early in the season too.

Harrisville, MI(Zone 5b)

I'll be on after work, this is one of Monikas from last year, first time it has bloomed for me.

Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

Root it will probably change for the better. I have found that first blooms, for me anyway, are never the prettiest. I had one double seedling last year that was so ugly, in shape and color, that I almost threw it away. The inner flower was not completey formed. This year it is a pretty peach with a nice form.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

They are all good ones, 'specially that dbl. pink, let's see more!

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

Root they just stunning, and looks like to me it was well worth the wait for that bloom. So lovely :-)

Very good observation Ms. Delisa!! I've come to the same conclusion with my double also...., I'm keeping her and she'll be hanging out with the big girls! I've decided that there are never 'ugly' one's, only those that can be loved even more. My sweet little moma always said, 'Never judge a book by it's cover'....and she's right...that goes for brugs too, they may look even better next year just like you said, and for the better :-)

Hugs
Julie

About the one that's trying to go double - it doesn't matter, she can only get better, she looks super just like she is, full of fun and flashy and very pretty color!!!
