Alocasia macrorrhiza albo variegata

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

this is a stunning plant and always wants to send out pure white leaves. Very wonderful to discover in the garden. The white leaf is over 2 feet long.

Your plant is beautiful. The nice thing is that no two leaves are alike:

On this plant I'm beginning to get mostly green leaves:

Oh man, those are absolutely beautiful ladies! I know those pure white leaves are so bad for the plant, but, geeze they are so neat! There goes another plant on my wish list!

Barb that is awesome. Does it get burned easily or is it in enough shade??

Hattiesburg, MS(Zone 8a)

Donna, it gets sun part of the day. I was surprised that it didn't get burned.

LOL Larry guess I(you) could put it in the new ginger bed since that's about the most shade I have. It is incredible. You are bound and determined to get me hooked on ears too

Oh Barb, that is so cool! Your leaf looks so vibrant and cool next to everything else. I had one that was all white, but it stayed a creamy color not a clear cool white. I just love your pic!!!

Delicie, your plant is also beautiful.

Here is a pic of my cream colored leaf.
