I went to a nursery today that had xanthosoma at 'dwarf green' http://www.agristarts.com/xan_dwarfgreen.htm in pots and I asked how much they were they told me 1.00 a pot. well I took ten. and I broke down the smallest pot, to repot and they had 23 in there. it was about a 5-6 incher.... that wasn't including the eyes that were making pups.... "have to go to church so I can't do them all... I mostlikely have 200-300 of them... what a deal for $10 dollars... thats like .05 cents a peace at the lowest.. don't tell agristarts...LOL theres are .88 cents...LOL

come on...!!!!! the nursery that I trade plants with gave me a luna moth and an elesibath hedy, so I can Id mine... and I kinda feel silly now, cause I couldn't do it before but I have extras now...LOL

just to clarify, you did buy from agristarts? I thought they only sold like to nurseries and only like flats are a time. Can anybody buy from the online? I want a super deal just like you LOL
I think these came from agristats about 3 years ago. if I bought it from agriastarts it would have cost me $162-$324 I can pay cost with the nursery that I trade with for the things that come from agristarts but they only buy a couple of things a year and they don't have that much room for a full line of there stuff...

I never did get back to you on the crinums. Do you still have them? If you do what does the flower look like?

ely, I would love to go but I have most of the gingers they listed and because of recent purchases of ee my plant pocketbook is empty. I just got back from roz's today and took plants and brought back the back of the truck full. I need to plant and weed. I saw the nice ee you left for roz. Such a nice person. We always have a good time.
I know what you mean. do you know anything about the hedy gardnerianum Fiesta Kahili Ginger. I have gardnerianum, and kahili. but I have never seen it ran together. that was the only hedy that drew a question mark for me. well maybe you can go to new orleans with us. janet says that is better. Roz is cool do you know if she is going I haven't heard anything from her....mobile has some nice ears but they seem to be not as hardy as they should be. got to hop in bed and go into a beauty coma...
