WHOO HOOO

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Just look at Golden Lady, 9" high and she has 3 buds, I sure hope nothing happens to her, I have put stakes around her to keep anyone from stepping on her.

Kell I was taking pictures of my Lilies and I looked over at golden lady, she had a broken leaf, boy was I shocked when I saw a bud, then I raised a leaf and saw two more, and she is not quite 9 inches tall, unbelievable, and I know you know how I feel *LOL*

Good job! I'm thinking GL is a flowering power house. Mine was short as well and since she started blooming there's buds at every new fork which she is going into overdrive producing now since being planted inground. You're gonna love it!!

I'm impressed Doris, it's really cute to have buds on one so tiny. That's only happened to me once and it hasn't bloomed yet...

Congrats Doris! The little lady comes through. That's great.

I'm big time jealous!

Thanks everyone, I was realy worried last night as we had terriffic storm with Tornadoe alert, the wind was awfull first thing I did when it was over was run outside and check on her, she was OK but a couple of the larger Brug's were broken off.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

That is good news Doris, I am so glad the storm didn't get her. Too bad about your other brugs though.

I think those same winds went through here this weekend.

Just wanted to say I'm sorry about your 2 brugs getting broken.

I have put the tops of the broken Brugs in water maybe they will get roots, I left the bottom part in the ground as they had a couple of small leaves still on. they are predicting more bad storms for this evening, I am going to put a bucket over golden lady and fasten it down.

She sure looks healthy and happy.
Another hardy girl to add to my want list!

So did she do OK, Doris???

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

kell she made through OK buds are getting bigger, when they bloom ( I have no idea how they will ) they will have to lay on the ground

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

The good news is that GL blooms are on the small and perky side so you may have enough room for them to hang. Though you may have to prop up the branch. I am so excited for you Doris. You really deserve lots of beautiful blooms!
