This is a cutting from a local tree. Is it insignis pink?

Looks like Isabella, frosty pink or Adora....but they all resemble each other those...there's probably more pebble. Maybe someone will come along and verify. Can you take more shots of her. That may help too.

Here is a shot of her with the ancient city walls of hallicanarsos in the back....at one time they wanted to make a road there, but because of the ruins (which are protected) they cant.

Pebble, I'm not the best on identification, but it sure looks like insignis pink to me. The way the color goes up the tube of the flower is one good indicator.

Brugie, It was my first thought, and I have no idea why, because I really am not too familair with all the brugs out there.....as you may remember, I wasnt too successfull at home with them, and here it seems they have one big flush in the beg of the season, then they kind of go dormant in the heat of the season then have another flush in the fall.....Last year mine succumend to spider mites and then just didnt do anything. So i was pretty excited to see buds on this, even though it has a spider mite problem too. what to do with them? I read all the advice but all the products you guys use are not available here..

Thank you sherry.

Here is a thread with home recipes on it. You might find something here that you can whip up to use on them. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/423312/

Most likely from your location it is an Insignis Pink.. That and the bloom sequence. Since you now have a live plant with a bloom what it is isn't the important thing.. Seeinghat this one survives is the thing! If it has mites it will die like the other unless you take care of the problem...Even without products that we have here in the states... you can try the easist way, wash theleaves with a very mild soap water,,rinsethe leaves every day till signs of a healthy plant are seen. Than watch the leave all the time, Since there are some in the area that seem to be surviving you can do it to..It just takes work.Spider mites are heavy in your area,,,so again wash the plant,,,But don't keep the soil soggy...Good luck...you can do it.
