Getting good with cuttings and would like to try Hibiscus

N. Mississippi, MS(Zone 8a)

Hi everyone in this forum. Have always loved Hibiscus but never really tried rooting the different types. I have been getting very good at rooting cuttings on other types of plants and would love to try some Hibiscus. Anyone out there have any that need trimmed back a bit, or you wouldnt mind sharing a snip or two? I will gladly pay postage, including the cost of the box or trade if I happen to have anything you are interested in. I hope to get a lot of different kinds so I can see which ones I can get to root. It will be a fun experiment and I will be glad to post my results here. I will be using a raised station with an overhead mist system an will post all details and all results in hopes that it will help someone here down the road. Now all I need are cuttings from many different types. Anyone?

Thanks

Here is a link to another thread where I posted a lot of info and pictures on how I root cuttings of all kinds around here. So far(knock on wood), everything I've tried to root this year has rooted in record time with these rooting cubes.
I have some friends here that have been fighting with them but I know its due to over watering. I soak the cubes initially and won't water them again for a week. When I do water again, I add water to the bottom of the tray and let the cubes wick the water needed and then drain off what they don't in 5-10 minutes.

Hi all, when I started this thread I wasnt looking for instructions on how to root cuttings. As I indicated I have gotten pretty good at that. I was actually hoping to find some folks out there that might be cutting back thier hibiscus shrubs a bit and could send me some cuttings to try. If anyone out there has some cuttings to spare I would appreciate it. Would be happy to trade or send postage. Just wanted to put my thread back on track, it seems to have gotten sidetracked. Thanks
