Hi Jenks,

Thanks for commenting, I haven't looked at this picture in a long time. The iris were gorgeous again last year but I had to dig most of them up, they were packed in tight. As great at they looked I think I'll go for some color this year.

I have some purple ones that came with my house & need moving if you'd like...I dug and re-homed all the ones in the shade that I possibly could in a day. What's left is living in the shade until I get the time!

Any idea how it got that name immortality?

It got the name 'Immortality' because it's a reblooming Iris. Blooms in the spring, and then again in the fall.
