I stumbled upon Dave's Garden this afternoon and I have been planted at the computer ever since.
Every year I go to a garden party hosted by a couple in my Sunday School class. This year she had a list of her daylilies for sale. I did a google search for the first on the list to see a picture and I quickly found Dave's Garden. I immediately joined and subscribed.
I'm an unconventional gardener. The lady I visted this morning really got me interested in gardening. Her yard is beautiful and I always buy a daylily - like a party favor. Besides daylilies, you will find trumpet vine (for hummingbirds), goldenrod, and poke weed. I also have yarrow, holly, lilac, crepe myrtle, and crocus in the spring. Recently I have started planting ground covers - blue juniper rug and monkey grass. My dog digs holes and I plant whereever he digs holes. This is embarrassing.
Greetings from Mississippi

Welcome to DG :) Glad you're here - there's a great pet forum where folks discuss 'diggin dogs' :)
Hi, Lu! I find this site to be almost addictive as shopping for plants. You are going to love the people here. Everyone is very knowledgable and friendly.

I love it here.
Obviously , I am a beginner gardener. I spent about 12 of the last 24 hours in Dave's Garden.
Hi Lula - I'm recent here also. I joined just for the plant database. I'm a hemaholic, and I'm always trying to get pictures and facts on the daylilies that I'm considering buying. So a great big welcome.
Hello and welcome to Dave's Garden.
