Looking to Salvia 'Blue Hills'.....

Modesto, CA(Zone 8b)

Hi all!

I would like to trade for a Salvia 'Blue Hills' division (seed?) if you have one. I have lots of stuff for trade, I bet I can find something you would like! Thanks for looking!

Botanically it's Salvia x sylvestris 'Blue Hill'. It is very similar in size to Salvia 'Blue Queen', or 'May Night', but the flowers are a sky blue instead of a purple blue. In this link they show it as S. nemorosa 'Blue Hill' so I'm not sure which is correct now! But it's a 24" perennial......hopefully headed for my daylily bed! Very similar in color to our house, so I thought that would look neato!

Well if you don't find them. I have seeds of http://davesgarden.com/pf/showimage/41760/
Which is a syn. for Salvia x sylvestris

OH that's pretty, Kim, and thanks, that was nice. I suppose I could stop being cheap and order one from Forestfarm. I've received nice things from them in the past. I don't think it's a very popular cultivar, most people prefer the darker blues.

I saw Blue Hill at Lowes the other day for $5.99, you could check there and maybe save shipping charges if no one has any to trade. I was wishing earlier today that I had picked up a couple, but I was in a hurry that day.
