Blood lily finally bloomed!!!!

I have had this bulb for over 2 years and it is finally blooming!!
Looks like a red powder puff!!

Hey mine started blooming too! But I think the wind is messing it up a bit. It is kicking up some now. Gusting up to about 45-50 mph.

Aren't those cool? I hope I didn't damage mine by transplanting recently.

I have one that another DG'er sent me a little over a year ago. This is the second time it has bloomed and it is almost as big as a canteloupe.

Donna, the one on the right is variegated hydrangea, and to the left is a kong coleus.

Thanks!!! That is correct, it puts out the bloom before the foliage, so if you see foliage, it is not going to bloom. :(
I have also been told that since it has bloomed, it should make a baby this year!!!
