Knoxville, TN

Kell, Kell, Kell. I am so jealous of you! Your blooms are just beautiful! I am in awe of the color of Mango Crush. I have heard about it but this is the first viewing I have had! Absolutely fabulous my dear!!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

I am so anxious to see Mango Crush too, Mel. Last year she bloomed so late. I have dtons of buds. I already love her color and I adore her name.

Yes, Brinda, ForeverMorr is a beaut! I have a tree of her now and I need to move her from my porch area. She is under the lath and needs more room and some sun would probably be good too. LOL

Thanks Annapet and Donna. I am sure blessed.

I just sprayed BT. Is it supposed to be a dark green blue color? I do not remember it being that color before. I am kind of worried now. LOL

Keaau, HI(Zone 11)

Kell...you are incredible...and so are your Brugs!!!

Carol

Yukon, OK(Zone 7b)

Hey Kell, help me out one more time please! Tell me about BT (I can't remember what that stands for) I think I remember you told me last year it would take care of the cats. I'm certainly in need now....with all our rain I've found tons of babies. Another question, we're still expecting more rain. Should I wait until it all stops or can I go ahead & spray?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Thanks so much, Carol. I am in the dog house here so tell my DH.

Brinda girl, it is the biological insecticde for the control of certain leaf chewing worms. Bacillus thuringiensis . It won't hurt you or your pets. It some how interferes with their eating I believe and they die. I t sure hasn't affected my eating.

here read this. LOL

Quick Facts...
Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) is a naturally occurring bacterial disease of insects. These bacteria are the active ingredient in some insecticides.
Bt insecticides are most commonly used against some leaf- and needle-feeding caterpillars. Recently, strains have been produced that affect certain fly larvae, such as mosquitoes, and larvae of leaf beetles.
Bt is considered safe to people and nontarget species, such as wildlife. Some formulations can be used on essentially all food Crops.

Moscow, TN(Zone 7a)

You must be doing something right! Your blooms are beautiful.

Deltona, FL(Zone 9a)

Wonderful Blooms....Makes me want more variety. Tired of same old same old. What ever you do you do it right.

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

they lie. BT kills Butterflies!!!!!!!!!! and their larva(cats) which are usually plant specific like milkweeds for Monarchs, Passiflorias for Gulf Fritilliary, Legumes for Long Tail Skippers etc....

Greensburg, IN(Zone 6a)

Thanks kell, one of these days it will be MY blooms *LOL*

Doris

Clinton, CT(Zone 6b)

Oh, my Kell - I just about fell off my chair when I opened this post. Mango Crush is just about the most beautiful color I have seen yet. Oh, please, oh, please tell me where you got her. Is she available for sale anywhere??. Can I work as your slave till I earn enough to buy a cutting. I have to have her, I have to. whine whimper, sigh....

Medford, NJ(Zone 6b)

What beautiful blooms! I bet your yard must smell SOOOO good. Do any of your neighbors grow brugs? I bet your house is the nicest on the block with all those beauties you have.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Wow, blooms! I love Mango Crush. Heck, I like them all.......

Springfield, OH(Zone 5b)

No lying that I saw. It said non target wildlife. catapillars aren't included in that. If you have a particular species you are trying to preserve don't use it on the plants they eat. It's a trade off.. each person needs to decide which they like more..their plants or their butterflies. I only use it in my birdbaths and on my tomatoes and squash.. milkweed they can eat to their heart's content

Vancleave, MS(Zone 8b)

but Jazz the Tomatoe Horn Worm makes this beautiful Pink-spotted Hawk moth or one of the other big night moths that pollinate your brugs

Opps, am I in trouble now?? Donna is going to get me. I am going to hide for the rest of the day. I am so glad I can run faster than she can now.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

just shaking my head in awe, especially since you said everything was in containers and you had no dirt. So how much do you pay that person to go around watering every couple hours?

Beautiful!

(Mary) Poway, CA(Zone 10a)

She doesn't have to pay them a cent. They come over to work in the early evening and become totally intoxicated from the sweet scent of the Brugs .... then they go home without remembering to ask for their pay.

Kannapolis, NC(Zone 7b)

Beautiful pictures, Kell.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Beautiful Kell ...

Indiantown, FL

Kell your blooms are beautiful, I can't wait till mine are tall enough so I don't have to pick the pot up to see the blooms. I love Golden Lady it has very nice form and Monika triple is real pretty. All my plants are setting buds now, I am getting a preview of what's to come from your photo's.
Thank You for taking the time to share.

Connie

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Oh Connie, what fun you will have! LOL.

Oh Blaine, I have a yard with dirt. LOL. I must have given the wrong impression. Sorry! Though most of my brugs are in pots. My yard was fully landscaped before I went nuts on brugs. I had 4 or 5 brugs before I went nuts and they were incorporated. I had no more room in the ground for anymore! LOL. I let them take over my previous veggie garden. They are huge in there for they are in the ground. All of them need to be tossed but one. I have to bribe poor Tom to dig them all out. Today he is digging another 50 holes for me. I hope. Of course of all the pics I show in this thread, all are in pots except Golden Lady and Big Yella. They are in the ground and just too huge.

Maybe I was talking about my courtyard, most everything there is in pots. Pot central. And I do all the watering here. Can take me hours for I have 2 other growing grounds. Also we get no rain here till November, so no outside help.

Zion, IL(Zone 5a)

yeah, in one of these threads you said something like everything was in pots.... which I took literally. :)

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Though if you were to look in my back yard right now, that statement would seem accurate. LOL. My entire what used to be lawn is covered in brug pots. I must have 300 of them sitting there in all sizes.

RICHMOND, VA(Zone 7b)

It looked like a catalog for new and different Brugs - I loved each one better than the last.
Big Yella, yummy Mango Crush,Golden Lady; I'll be hoping to add to my collection.
Nothing beats PB, 'tho - it does look like her with the color and amazing tendrils.
Lead on!!!

Weimar, TX(Zone 8b)

Beautiful - just beautiful - each and everyone of them.
Beverly
