My elephant ears are taking over my day lilies and soloman seal....some got to go! I have enough for about 5 people. I won't send a bulb, it will be a thick rhizome with a leaf or two. They are sending out shoots. I'll try to send one or 2 plants that are the size to fit in one of those small priority mail boxes. Postage with Paypal is fine or a trade.

What are you looking for in trade? It helps to give a few ideas for us to know how to tempt ya.
I'm actually pretty easily tempted because I love all plants and I don't think it is possible to dissapoint me. I like like hostas, daylilies, veronica, hyssops, dahlias, lilies, brugs, datura, ummmm. I could go on forever. I already have tons of achillia, artemesia, galardia, coreposis, echinatia, cannas, black eyed susans, Mexican petunia. Probably couldn't tempt me with those....but you could motivate me to go dig sum up for you! I had one trader send a pretty soap she made. I loved it!
I have a few dahlia tubers I could send you for some. What do ya think?
Mendy
Sure! What kind of dahlias?

I would love a piece of that, I have looked everywhere here in NY and have been unable to find. Would have to do the paypal thing, as I don't have enough of anything yet to trade (unless you would like baptista?)
I would love to have some. Can do paypal or I have some lantana (yellow flowers) and about 5 morning glory plantlets (mixed colors) I could trade you.PLMK
happy gardening!

Macflutie...I actually don't have any Baptisa (thats false indigo right?). That sounds like a great trade. Darmadoll...I have plenty of lantana and morning glory so paypal is fine. My address is thripmaster@aol.com. Postage will be 3.85 and I'll stuff as many as I can into one of those small priority mail boxes. I'll try to ship by Monday.

BTW Macflutie....I don't think it is hardy in your area over the winter. It is supposed to be hardy to zone 8, but I live in zone 7 and it is plenty hardy and becoming a pest. You will have to dig the tubers in the winter. Next spring be very patient after you plant them because they don't come up until the soil is consistenly above 65. Treat them sort of like a caladium.
