Firecracker Plant & Cigar Plant

Kingston, GA(Zone 7b)

Would anyone happen to have a good start of Firecracker Plant (Russelia equisetiformis) that they would share or trade with me. I have hunted and hunted for this. Any help would be appreciated. Also looking for Cigar Plant (Cuphea ignea) for my hummingbirds. If you can help, please contact me and I will see what I may have to interest you in a trade. Thank You. :)

I have both. I can try to root cuttings from them.

Oh Donna, this sounds fantastic. I would be most appreciative if you could get some rooted of both of them. What plants would you like in exchange? Is there any special plants you are looking for? Is your "Want List" up-to-date? If so, I may have a couple of things on your want list. LMK how the rooting goes. I thank you so much for offering to help me.

I'll work on rooting you some cuttings this next week.

I think my wish list is up to date...... maybe?

Thank you Donna--sent you an email.

Jan--Thank you for your help too. I will have to get myself across town to check our Lowe's out but usually our Lowe's doesn't carry these type of plants up here (too tropical/heat loving for much retail sale up here). But once in a while they do surprise me by bringing in a few pots of new tropical/semi-tropical varieties to see how they will sale.

I'm always willing to buy them for reimbursement of cost and shipping if needed. I think they were in the $5.00 range.
